During Tuesday night’s Culver Town Council meeting, members considered writing a letter to the Marshall County Council – who is in the process of considering the tax due to lacking state support for road maintenance and repairs.

A business looking to expand its seating and kitchen space in Culver saw the initial proposal changed on Tuesday night.
The Culver Town Council took an ordinance to first reading that would change the zoning designation of Papa’s Pizza from C-2 to C-1. The designation typically specifies commercial land. The difference is that a C-1 district does not having parking requirements for each unit of seating.

The Town of Winamac has nearly completed a new addition to the town park.
During Monday night’s Winamac Town Council meeting, updates on the fencing for a new dog park were received. The dog park was suggested due to conflicting schedules between the 4-H club and youth baseball and softball teams who were using the fields for practice.
