The Town of Culver has scheduled its spring clean-up day, but a lack of volunteers means it may be the only one for the year. In the past, the town has held two clean-up days, one in the spring and one in the fall. Continue reading
Culver Fall Clean-Up Day Scheduled for Oct. 12
The fall town-wide clean-up day for the town of Culver is scheduled for next Saturday, Oct. 12. According to town manager David Schoeff, this gives residents the opportunity to get rid of some of their junk, old electronics or other items that would otherwise prove problematic to dispose of.
Schoeff said dumpsters will be located at the north water tower on Lakeshore Drive, offering a free drop-off site for residents who wish to unload of some of their items like televisions, air-conditioning units that have had the freon removed, and other items to help clean up the neighborhood. He explained the electronics are taken to the Marshall County Solid Waste District.
Schoeff said it’s typically a pretty successful program, and the dumpsters will be available from 8 a.m. to noon.
