The Culver Community Schools Corporation is reporting success with its efforts to provide free meals to local children during the summer months. Food Services Director Carin Clifton gave the school board an update Monday on the Summer Food Service Program. Culver School Board to Consider Policies for Upcoming School Year
The Culver School Board will consider a few policies for the 2016-2017 school year when they meet this evening. Board members are expected to discuss textbook adoption, book rental fees, and breakfast and lunch prices for the upcoming school year, as well as school handbooks. Continue reading
Culver Schools to Offer Meals During Spring Break
The Culver Community School Corporation will still be serving breakfast and lunch each day during the spring break and intersession. The school is participating in the federal Summer Food Service Program starting Monday, March 28th and continuing through Friday, April 8th. Continue reading
NJ-SP School Corporation to Participate in USDA Summer Food Program
The North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation will be providing meals to all children up to the age of 18 for free this summer.
The USDA Summer Food Service Program will also offer free meals to any adult enrolled in a state approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled. All meals will be the same and there will be no discrimination during the course of the meal service.
