The Oregon-Davis School Board finalized the 2018-2019 student handbooks last week. Superintendent Dr. Don Harman says the only major change was the removal of the language on eLearning. The school board decided to do away with eLearning last month, due to the desire to have students in school for every available instruction day.

Knox students will be paying more for lunch when they return to class in August. The Knox School Board last week approved a 10-cent increase, bringing the cost of lunch up to $2.15 at the elementary school and $2.40 at the middle and high schools. Breakfast will remain at $1.35, but adult lunch will go up to $3.20.

N.J-S.P. Board Approves Student and Staff Wellness Policy
The North Judson-San Pierre School Board approved the final reading of the wellness policy on Tuesday evening. It incorporates federal guidelines into the school’s cafeteria food, vending machines and physical activity practices. Superintendent Lynn Johnson says physical activity is an important part of the school day.
