An online phishing scam involving Wells Fargo Bank is making the rounds and the LaPorte Police Department wants you to be informed to keep you from being a victim in this scam.

If you receive an email from security@wellsfargo with a subject of “Wells Fargo Notification” with a message ID number, do not open it.
