Mediacom has announced plans make a billion dollars in capital investments over the next three years. As part of the initiative, the company says it will upgrade its broadband services to one gigabit per second for nearly all its home and business customers. The North Judson-San Pierre School Board is looking to implement a Wifi system at the corporation this summer.
Superintendent Lynn Johnson said the move will be big for students and for visitors to the school. The board is currently seeking quotes for the upgrade.
