The Winamac Park Board is finalizing plans for the creation of an advisory council. It will be tasked with getting public input on the town’s park and recreation facilities, as well as helping with potential fund raising efforts. Continue reading

Work is now underway to develop a five-year plan for Winamac’s park and recreation facilities. Katie Bierrum, who’s putting the comprehensive plan together as part of her coursework at Purdue University, discussed the plan with the Winamac Park Board Thursday.
