Auditions Approaching for Rising Star Competition
Do you have what it takes to be a star? WNIT is sponsoring a Rising Star competition, a one-hour television series that aims to find talented people in the area. Live auditions will be held in one of four regional locations: Warsaw Community High School, The Lerner Theatre, The Mendel Center, and The Croc Center.
North Judson Mint Festival Featured in Webcast
The upcoming North Judson Mint Festival is getting some exposure in cyberspace. Organizers of the Father’s Day weekend festival have taped a web segment for South Bend-based WNIT Public Television’s “Experience Michiana” program. This year marks the festival’s 36th anniversary. The theme is “Mint is Green in 2013.” Festivities begin Friday, June 14 with the carnival in the Catholic Church parking lot, music from Hoosier Highway at Norwayne Field starting at 5 p.m. prior to the father and grandfather of the year presentation. Afterward the Joe Feingold Project will take the stage at Norwayne Field.

Open auditions will be held in one of five regional locations: Culver Academy; Lerner Theatre in Elkhart; Warsaw High School; the Mendel Center in Benton Harbor, Mich.; or the Kroc Center in South Bend. The deadline to register is March 31.
