LaPorte County Police are investigating, after a body was found in water south of Fish Lake. The Sheriff’s Office was called to the 4300 block of South County Road 800 East around 10:00 a.m. Friday
When deputies arrived, they were able to confirm that an unknown black male was deceased, according to the report. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Gabe Struss at 219-326-7700 ext. 2443 or (219)809-7697.
The LaPorte County Coroner’s Office and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources assisted at the scene.
