The Starke County Plan Commission will meet tonight where the members will review a flood damage prevention ordinance and a possible pond ordinance discussion.
The code enforcement officer will provide an update.
The Starke County Plan Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. CT tonight, followed by the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The Board of Zoning Appeals members will hold a public hearing to consider an area variance request by Gary Peck to replace the second dwelling on the property with one that is 100 square feet longer located at 11912 E. 750 N. in Walkerton. Another public hearing is set to consider an area variance request by Anna Krzemien to place a 28X40 garage on a corner lot only 28 feet and 18 feet from the center of the road in an R-3 zoned area located at 4987 S. Cranberry Lane in Knox.
Updates will also be given on other properties.
Both meetings will be held in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
