The Starke County Panning Commission Technical Review Committee will be meeting Monday, September 30 to consider documents.
The committee will meet at 9 a.m. CT to review a Commercial Solar Energy permit submission from Hoosier Solar. The permit is for a North Bend Township project and a Starke Central project. Engineer Consultant Bob Aloi will be present for questions as will Hoosier Solar representatives.
Following that meeting, or at 10 a.m. CT, the committee will review an ordinance that would establish definitions and criteria for standards for commercial solar battery energy storage systems with engineering consultant Bob Aloi.
The Technical Review Committee is the first organization that fields requests before they are brought before the Plan Commission for a recommendation to the Starke County Commissioners for final determination.
The Technical Review Committee will meet in the ground floor meeting room of the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
