FAFSA Workshops Scheduled This Week

In anticipation of Indiana’s March 10th FAFSA deadline, Ancilla College will offer a series of free one-on-one workshops for people looking to file their 2011-2012 FAFSA applications.

Filling out the FAFSA is a vital step for college students to complete in order to be considered for financial aid. The FAFSA not only enables students to be considered for federal, state, and institutional grants, but is also necessary for those looking to take out a Stafford or Parent Plus Loan for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Ancilla College representatives will hold a workshop at Oregon-Davis on Thursday, February 24th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. CT. Seven workshops will be held at Ancilla College: February 24th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. ET; February 28th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon ET; March 1st from 4:30-6:00 p.m. ET; March 2nd 10:00 a.m. to Noon ET and 4:00-6:00 p.m.; March 3rd from 4:00-6:00 p.m. ET; March 7th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon ET; and March 8th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. ET.

Students who plan to attend should bring a social security number, driver’s license, and 2010 W-2/tax forms and other records of money earned.
