Eleven new specialty license plates have been approved for Hoosier motorists, according to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Indiana’s BMV standardized all specialty plates to include a white background with the sponsor’s logo or artwork and a tag line across the bottom.
The new plates include:
Bicycle Indiana
Donate Life Indiana (promotes organ donation)
Greenways Foundation
Indiana Teamsters Local Unions
Indiana Youth Institute (helps promote mentoring)
National Rifle Association
Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent
Indiana Sheriff’s Association
Spay-Neuter Services
Stop Diabetes
Wild Turkey (helps promote habitat enhancement)
For every $40.00 specialty plate fee, $25.00 goes to the sponsoring organization’s cause.
