Beginning Friday, March 4th, troopers from the Indiana State Police will join more than 250 other Indiana law enforcement agencies across the Hoosier State in the Over the Limit, Under Arrest March crackdown on impaired and dangerous driving.
Officers from the Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Knox City Police Department, North Judson Police Department and Hamlet Police Department will be involved in this blitz that will continue through March 20th. Officers will work overtime to conduct high-visibility enforcement activities designed specifically to identify impaired drivers. Motorists will see an increased number of patrols looking for aggressive drivers and unrestrained motorists during the 17-day mobilization.
Operation Pull Over Blitz 66 is a statewide enforcement effort supported by federal funding allocated to the Indiana State Police from the Traffic Safety Division of the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
