Eastern Pulaski School Board Discusses Fiscal Year Budget

The Eastern Pulaski School Board discussed its fiscal year budget at their recent meeting and gave Superintendent Dr. Robert Klitzman permission to advertise the budget.

“Due to the way budgets are constructed in the State of Indiana, we’re forced to advertise a very high rate,” said Dr. Klitzman. “Our levies are inflated and I’m saying that up front that they are because once we go through the state hearing and we finally get solid numbers, right now everything is a guess, we can only cut the budget. By law, you can not increase it so the only thing we can do to protect our school is to advertise high.”
