The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members approved J.E.S.S.E reorganization at their recent meeting. Superintendent Lynn Johnson says this will allow special education teachers to be able to teach special education students at the school instead of the students traveling to take classes.
“That is going into effect July 1st, 2012,” commented Johnson. “This has been an ongoing process so this was one of the final things that needed to happen before we moved with this process.”
The Board also approved the use of the School Messenger communication system.
“This is an opportunity for us to provide mass communication to our families through email, text and phone in case of an emergency or if we have a delay or something like that. We can be immediately be in contact with families.”
