Plymouth man and his daughter were injured in a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon on U.S. 31 just south of U.S. 6 in Marshall County.
Marshall County Police say 29-year-old Anthony McNeal of Plymouth was attempting to cross U.S. 31 at the intersection of 2C Road and pulled into the path of an oncoming semi. The semi hit the passenger side of the vehicle and it spun off the roadway. McNeal was reportedly unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by helicopter to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. His daughter, 6-month-old Reese McNeal was a passenger in the vehicle. She was transported by ambulance to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.
The reporting officer said that the extent of the occupants’ injuries are currently unknown. Toxicology results are pending and the accident remains under investigation.
