Seventh grade students from the Knox Middle School will be visiting Ancilla College today. According to Todd Zeltwanger, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement at the college, the students will tour the facility, visit classrooms, the dining area, and Chapel. They will also visit with faculty members including those in the nursing department.
“I don’t know if we’ll get to do any hands-on things with them, but there might be some nursing demonstrations,” explained Zeltwanger. “We have a Human Patient Simulator there so they might be able to see that in action. It may trigger some interest and hopefully we can attract them to become students at some point.”
Zeltwanger said it is never too early to challenge students to get good grades so they can go on to college after high school.
