Three unique scholarships are being offered this summer by the Starke County Community Foundation with a deadline to enter of Aug. 13.
The Back Home Again in Indiana Scholarship is available for non-traditional students, including those who want to advance in their current field or re-enter the job market. Applicants for this scholarship must live in Starke County.
A second scholarship is also available for non-traditional students. The Legacy of Women Scholarship is offered exclusively to Starke County women, supporting women who are invested in their communities as well as working towards a college degree.
The Forrest and Helen Whitson Scholarship supports sophomore or higher students attending Purdue University in the Schools of Engineering, Agriculture, or Consumer and Family Living. Students must have graduated from a Starke County high school.
