A new partnership has formed between WGU Indiana and Ancilla College.
An articulation agreement was signed Tuesday which allows Ancilla College students to begin classes there and then enter one of WGU Indiana’s online degree programs as a junior.
Ancilla President Ron May says that Ancilla and WGU Indiana are two very different institutions but both offer education opportunities for traditional students.
WGU was established by the State of Indiana as a nonprofit, online, competency-based university to expand access to higher education. In 2012, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education recognized WGU Indiana for the university’s excellence in academic quality.
Five Ancilla students are currently moving through classes at WGU Indiana which will allow them to move up in the workplace or realize a lifetime goal.
