Two Starke County soldiers are coming home today.
Clinton Jordan, a soldier with the 713th Engineering Company, will be escorted by a convoy from North Judson down State Road 10 to U.S. 35 and into Knox. He is expected to arrive at the Knox VFW Post on South Heaton Street around 4 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to meet Clinton Jordan and his family at the Knox VFW as he returns after a one-year tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Another former Knox High School student will be coming home today. Tim Watts, a 2004 graduate from Knox, will be arriving at the Gary International Airport at 11:50 a.m. CT today after serving a tour of duty in Afghanistan. During his tour, he served as an email pen pal to special needs students at Knox schools.
