Formal charges are being sought after a North Judson man who allegedly threatened and assaulted four people.
North Judson police officers responded to a call in the 100 block of Arlington Avenue on Saturday night where it is alleged that Joseph Esposito reportedly threatened three adults and a three-year-old baby girl and sprayed them with pepper spray.
Esposito, 24 of North Judson, was arrested on four felony counts of Battery and three felony counts of Intimidation. This case has been forwarded to the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office for further review.
Also on Saturday, North Judson police responded to the 200 Block of Maryland Street in reference to an unwanted guest. The suspect, Timothy Howard of LaPorte, had reportedly pounded on the door, causing damage, threatened the tenant and then fled the area. After police located Howard, he became combative and allegedly threatened the reporting police officer.
Timothy J. Howard, 36, was arrested on preliminary charges of Criminal Mischief, Intimidation, Harassment, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
