Governor Mike Pence recently honored Ralph Braun with the Distinguished Hoosier Award. Representative Doug Gutwein attended the award ceremony and stated that there was no way to fully show appreciation for all that Ralph Braun accomplished, but hoped this could show how appreciative Indiana is for the major contributions he made to the state.

Braun began the Braun Corporation in 1972, developing it into what is now one of the world’s top leaders in the mobility industry. With the main hub being in Pulaski County, the company also employs sale representatives and customer service personnel all around the country.

Braun received the Distinguished Hoosier Award for his innovative work improving the mobility industry. The award is one of the state’s highest honors.

Braun passed away Feb. 8 of this year, but his legacy lives on.
