North Judson Fee Schedule to Be Revised

The North Judson Town Board is currently reviewing the town’s schedule of fees ordinance in anticipation of revising the list. Clerk-Treasurer Donna Henry explained that there are a number of fees currently in place that need to be included on the schedule as well as some other fees that need to be reviewed and possibly revised.

Henry said the board reviewed the fee schedule at length at their meeting this week and will now have the ordinance re-typed with the changes. She said the board may or may not hold the first reading on the new fee schedule at their next meeting, depending on whether or not more changes are necessary.

The board also learned that the Unsafe Building Hearing Authority Board is going to hold a meeting on April 16 at the civic center in North Judson at 7 p.m. Henry explained that the landowners of four properties in town have been mailed letters explaining that the properties have been deemed unsafe, and now the authority board will review those four properties to determine the proper course of action.

The landowners were invited by letter to attend the meeting.
