The Eastern Pulaski School Board approved summer school programs at their recent meeting.
Superintendent Dr. Robert Klitzman stated that one class will be P.E. for high school students.
“They can have that credit completed during the summer in a fashion where they have three and four hour blocked time,” explained Klitzman. “With just a little imagination and creativity, you can see how much more things that opens up and that you can do with that block of time.”
There is still room in the summer P.E. class if students are interested in taking the class.
The other summer school offering will be for seniors for Economics.
“We’re going to offer high school economics in what’s called a blended method. Mr. Cody Hook is going to teach that class for us and it’s going to be predominantly taken and delivered online. There will be a few occasions where the entire class will come back to school and have class time,” said Klitzman.
Klitzman indicated that there is still availability in that class as well.
