The Eastern Pulaski School Board congratulated and recognized the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of this year’s senior class.
Superintendent Dr. Robert Klitzman said this is always the high point of the entire school year.
“Valedictorian Katie Budd and her parents and our Salutatorian, Andrew ‘Andy’ Brandon, and his dad were at the board meeting and were recognized for four years of outstanding academic achievement,” Klitzman said.
Klitzman noted that while the Valedictorian and Salutatorian are always recognized for their outstanding grade point average, the two top students of this class were heavily involved in extra-curricular activities.
“They were on several of our academic teams, they were on athletic teams, they were in band class and involved in many performances. They were very, very well rounded and the parents were so supportive,” said Klitzman.
Graduation is set for Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. ET in the high school gymnasium.
