The Oregon-Davis School Board honored several retiring staff members at their meeting this week.
Bonnie Guse was honored for her 40 years of service to the Oregon-Davis Corporation. She was a 1969 graduate of Oregon-Davis and later graduated from Indiana Central in 1973. From there, she began her teaching career at O-D.
Betty Lebo taught at Oregon-Davis Schools for 20 years. She was a graduate of North Newton High School in 1969 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University.
Rex Miller was honored for teaching for 41 years at the Oregon-Davis School Corporation. He began teaching at the corporation in 1972 right after he graduated from Purdue University.
Debbie Awald has been at the O-D schools for 27 years. Awald and her husband had two children who graduated from the school system. She was a graduate of Oregon-Davis Schools and a graduate of Valparaiso University.
Donna Flaugher began her teaching career at Oregon-Davis in 1980, right after she graduated from Ball State University. She was a graduate of John Glenn High School.
Peggy Risner is a graduate of Knox High School and served the Oregon-Davis School Corporation for 28 years.
Nancy Dennie is a 1966 graduate of Triton High School and came to Oregon-Davis in 1980. She was honored for her 33 years of service to the corporation.
These staff members devoted most if not all of their employment at Oregon-Davis and the school board thanked them all for their dedication to students and to the corporation.
