The Eastern Pulaski School Board met in special session this week to discuss criteria for the selection of a new superintendent.
Superintendent Dr. Robert Klitzman said the board made a tentative timeline for the application process and the hiring of a new superintendent.
“The application period will end May 28,” explained Klitzman. “The interviews, whether they are initial or final, will be done by June 29. The public meeting to go over the contract will be July 17 and the hope is to appoint the superintendent by July 26.”
Klitzman commented that the board isn’t rushing through the process and will make the best decision that best suits the needs of the students, staff and the corporation.
