The West Central School Board members took action on several agenda items during their meeting Thursday night.
The board approved the student accident insurance policy for the next school year.
Superintendent Charles Mellon added that the cafeteria prices for both breakfast and lunch will stay the same for the next school year.
“Jessica Murray does a very good job in our cafeteria,” said Mellon. “To eliminate any increases by the federal government, you have to show that your budget will last three months out, which it does. You also need to be supplying the students with a healthy lunch, which she does. Those menus are approved by the state. We get reimbursed six cents per meal if you meet their guidelines.”
Since those qualifications were satisfied, the corporation was able to keep the cafeteria prices the same for next school year.
