The North Judson Lions Club call-out didn’t quite have the turnout expected, but that doesn’t mean the Lions Club isn’t coming to town. Connie Roe, who was involved in the coordination of the call-out, said they are still planning to organize a Lions Club in North Judson; it’s just a matter of finding the right time.
An informational meeting on the Lions Club was scheduled for the night of June 24 at the Wayne Township Public Library in North Judson, but the turnout was lacking, and Roe said they will likely wait until September to give it another go.
