The Eastern Pulaski School Board heard a report on the First Lady of Indiana’s visit to the Eastern Pulaski Elementary School.
The school was recently named a four-star school and Karen Pence toured the school in May and talked to the students and teachers. Superintendent Dr. Robert Klitzman explained that she was impressed with the school.
“Our academic accomplishments are starting to get the recognition they deserve,” said Klitzman. “All of the credit goes to the teachers in the classroom, certainly our administrators and parents. It’s all the support and help that we give them along the way.”
First Lady Karen Pence stated that the school’s priority of reading is what’s important for the students in their developmental years. She commended the teachers and staff for always putting the children first.
