The Eastern Pulaski School Board met in executive session Wednesday night when they discussed the candidates for superintendent and future meetings.
The board members voted to hold two meetings next week to discuss a proposed contract for a new superintendent. The board will be holding negotiations soon.
Eastern Pulaski School Superintendent Dr. Robert Klitzman was scheduled to retire on June 30 when his contract was to end, but the board has extended the contract until a new superintendent is selected. A new superintendent is expected to be in place by the end of July.
Klitzman has been with the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation for the past 26 years.
