The Marshall County Economic Development Commission and the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission entered into a lease agreement for construction of a 45,000-square-foot “shell” building to be built in the Industrial Park.
Marshall County Economic Development Commission Executive Director Jay Bahr told WKVI that the land is owned by the Plymouth Industrial Development Corporation and the Development Commission is looking to buy the land from PIDCO for the construction.
The Redevelopment Commission and the Economic Development Commission entered into a lease agreement in a recent meeting and Garmong Construction will be constructing the building. The 45,000-square-foot building will be built in the Industrial Park and could be expanded to 135,000 square feet if an industry desires to expand.
The building, when constructed, will be “move-in” ready when completed. Bahr stated that this is a great way to attract industry, especially in a modern building.
