The 2013 Pulaski County 4-H Fair continues today with a number of exhibits, programs and entertainment planned throughout the day.
Entries for the goats, poultry, rabbits, sheep and swine livestock competition start the day off at 5 a.m. and run til 10 a.m., with open class exhibits entered from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A meeting of livestock exhibitors is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the 4-H Show Arena, and poultry judging will take place at noon.
Beginning at 1 p.m., open class exhibits will be on display, and at 1:30 p.m. the public speaking competition takes place at the entertainment stage. Following that is the recognition program at 3 p.m. at the entertainment stage and the leader reception at 4 p.m. at the food tent, hosted by Pulaski County Junior Leaders.
At 5 p.m. is the wildlife program with Kim Hoover, presented by Pulaski County Soil and Water at the entertainment stage, and at 7 p.m., Cody Collier will perform at the entertainment stage with Tippecanoe Puppet Crew.
The 2013 Royalty will be crowned at 3 p.m. today.
On Sunday, the 4-H horse and pony judging will take place at 8 a.m., followed by a pork loin dinner by the Fair Association at 10:30 a.m. The pedal tractor pull is set for 2 p.m., the goat showman workshop at 4:30 p.m., and the 4-H sheep show at 7 p.m.
The Miss Pulaski County Pageant will take place at 8 p.m. at the entertainment stage, when Miss Pulaski County 2012 will pass down her crown.
