It’s amazing how fast time goes. Eastern Pulaski School Superintendent Dr. Robert Klitzman said the time is drawing near for the start of the new school year as he gave information about school registration to the school board this week.
“We are only within five weeks of the start of school,” said Klitzman. “Our registration for students starts Aug. 2 and runs through Aug. 7. The first day for staff is actually on Monday, Aug. 12 and the first day for students is Aug. 14.”
Complete back to school information for Eastern Pulaski students can be found on the back to school feature on the front page of our website.
Klitzman hopes for good student attendance this year and told the board that good attendance is directly linked to success.
“Our corporation average attendance is 97 percent and we’ve had a lot of success here at Eastern Pulaski in the classroom. Our elementary school and our high school are classifieds as A schools, our corporation classified as an A school and our middle school is a strong B school. We have high academic performance and our elementary school is a four-star school. Ninety-seven percent attendance,” said Klitzman.
Encourage your children to have great attendance this coming school year.
