LaPorte Woman Arrested For Sale, Distribution of Heroin

A 23-year-old LaPorte woman was arrested on Thursday by LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit investigators for an arrest warrant issued by LaPorte County Circuit Court. Chelsea Patty was arrested in the 300 block of Park Street without incident and faces charges of Dealing in a Schedule I Controlled Substance (heroin) as a Class A felony.

Patty is currently being held in the LaPorte County Jail on a $100,000 bond. Her arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin in the LaPorte area, the second arrest made this week involving the distribution of heroin in the county.
