North Judson Town Board to Hold Public Workshop for 2014 Budget

In wake of the North Judson Town Board’s public hearing regarding the town’s 2014 budget, Clerk-Treasurer Donna Henry has announced that the board will soon hold a second budget workshop to review the budget. She said the budget should be finalized after this workshop and, afterward, would be ready to be legally advertised.

The workshop will take place Friday, Aug. 16 at 8 a.m. at the North Judson Community Center, located at 58 N. Main St.

The previous public hearing for the budget was attended by a few members of the public, but Henry said no residents spoke out or made any comments on the budget. While a few adjustments were made, prompted by Henry, she said the changes revolved mostly around utilities and fuel line items that were modified in comparison to what was required the previous year.
