Starke County Council Looking Forward to Future Projects

With the budget process out of the way, the Starke County Council can look at other items on the horizon.

Council President Dave Pearman said a lot of big discussion items are coming up when the members meet again Sept. 16 along with other activities starting this fall.

“You’ll see more activity related to the jail and there’s a committee working with the hospital. We certainly want to keep engaging and working with IU Health. Definitely come out to our meetings. I’m really happy to see that the public is becoming so involved in county government,” stated Pearman.

The next county council meeting is set for Monday, Sept. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the county annex building in Knox.
