North Judson to Hold Final Brush Pick-Up Soon

The town of North Judson is planned to hold their final brush pick-up for the year during the week of Oct. 21, and Clerk-Treasurer Donna Henry said people must have their brush next to the alley, or the street if they do not have an alley near their home, before the morning of Oct. 21. She said this pick-up is only for brush, and leaves will take place later.

In addition, Henry explained the town utility crew will be flushing hydrants during the nights of Oct. 27 and 28, weather permitting. She said it’s important for residents to be aware of the flushing, as discoloration is possible in the water. If discoloration is present, she advises residents to run the water until it is clear.

Henry said the leaf pickup should take place later this month.
