Arrests Keep Hamlet Police Department Busy

 
 
Officers from the Hamlet Police Department are staying busy, with a number of felony arrests made recently. The most recent was Thursday, Nov. 7 when officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Hamlet Golf Course. Allison Heck was arrested on a charge of operating a operating motor vehicle with a suspended license. She and Skyler Goble both charges of possession of controlled substances, possession of paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

Officers from the Hamlet PD also arrested Donald Frazier of Hamlet on Halloween during trick-or-treat hours for the felony offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

A Hamlet officer also arrested two suspects in the Oct. 9 burglary at the Hamlet Feed Mill following a joint investigation with the Starke County Sheriff’s Office. Rachel Bradley and John I. Lenig, both of Knox, face charges of burglary as a class C felony and criminal mischief.
