The Eastern Pulaski Community School Board will discuss the possession of firearms on school property when they meet this evening at 5:30 p.m. EDT in the Distance Learning Lab. Last week the West Central School Board discussed allowing faculty members to posses weapons while at work. The Eastern Pulaski School Board will also talk about the use of seclusions and restraints. Other items on the advance agenda include consideration of electric, demolition and cleanup quotes and acceptance of donations. Action to approve the transfer of funds from capital projects into a rainy day fund will be discussed. The superintendent’s report will cover bus inspection, the special education cooperative, NASP, graduation, maintenance, the appreciation breakfast and projects scheduled for the summer.
