
INDIANAPOLIS – Governor Mike Braun ceremonially signed Senate Enrolled Act 78, a new ‘bell-to-bell’ cell phone restriction strengthening Indiana’s school cell phone policies to help students focus, support teachers, and improve the classroom environment.




Knox Community High School may have a new assistant principal in the near future. 
Knox School Superintendent A.J. Gappa reviewed a few positive results from the recent ISTEP testing and reported that the schools have been, and continue to be, in a pilot program that help to determine test questions next year. The final testing period is April 18-May 6.He reiterated that a new testing formula is to be developed by the State for the 2017-18 year.

Two horse-riding groups from Culver Academies are heading to Texas to perform in the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo this weekend. The Black Horse Troop Lancer Platoon and the Equestriennes will each perform twice. They’ll both also appear in the opening ceremonies. 
The North Judson-San Pierre School Board will discuss the 2016-2017 school calendar when it meets this evening. Board members will also decide whether to approve the purchases of a bus and food services equipment.
