The Marshall County Commissioners will meet on Monday, June 30 in an executive session in their quest to find a new highway department superintendent.
The purpose of the meeting will be to interview an applicant for the position.
Long-time Highway Superintendent Neal Haeck retired at the beginning of May and the department has been operating under the direction of Interim Superintendents Jason Peters and Jerry Ambrose.
The commissioners have held previous interview sessions for the position and it was noted in a recent meeting that one of the main candidates withdrew his consideration from the position.
The timeframe of naming a new superintendent has not been announced.
