A searchable list of properties previously identified by law enforcement as clandestine meth lab sites is now available on the Internet. The new link on the Indiana State Police website provides the date of seizure, county, street address, type of lab and location of the lab on the property listed.
Meth labs found in vehicles after Dec. 31, 2012 will also have the vehicle identification number listed. State police warn the list may not be all-inclusive. Only labs that have been reported to the Indiana State Police are on the list, and even those have specific timelines and delisting requirements outlined in state law. Website users can download information about properties on the list. If you believe a property should be included on the list, you can contact the ISP Meth Suppression Section at 1-877-ISP-METH. The list is posted online at http://www.in.gov/meth/2371.htm.
