Goshen Resident Arrested After Friday Night Traffic Stop

 
 

A Goshen resident faces numerous charges in Marshall County after a traffic stop and subsequent arrest late Friday night. An officer from the Marshall County Police Department tried to stop a car at the intersection of Michigan and 4A Roads, according to a police department news release.

The driver did not stop and was pulled over on Michigan Road near 6C road after a brief pursuit. Officers determined the driver, Honey Ugarte-Chacon, 38, was under the influence of alcohol. He is living and working in Goshen but is only in the United States for a brief period of time. Ugarte-Chacon was arrested and charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, O.V.W.I. with a BAC greater than .08 percent and operating a vehilce without ever receiving a license.
