The Pulaski County Fair will take place next week at the fairgrounds in Winamac. They are located at the back of the town park, which is still closed due to Tippecanoe River flooding. Purdue Extension Pulaski County Director Natalie Federer says Saturday’s achievement recognition and fashion revue will be moved to the Winamac Nazarene Church, and Sunday’s Miss Pulaski County pageant will take place at Winamac Community High School.
Exhibits and animals will be moved to the fairgrounds starting Sunday afternoon, and all of the livestock shows will go on as scheduled. Federer says parking at the fairgrounds will be limited since the ground is still very wet. Handicap spaces will be available, but other fair patrons will need to park at Winamac Community High School. She says the fair board is in the process of arranging shuttle service. Vehicles will be allowed to drop off items like feed and leave immediately.
The Pulaski County Fair Board provided the following revised weekend schedule to 4-H members and local media on Thursday, July 1.
