During the West Central School Board meeting Thursday evening the school board utilized chrome books in an effort to cut down on paper costs. One of the items on the agenda under new business was the opening of bids on an old van that is no longer in use at the school.
No one expressed interest in purchasing the van but Superintendent Don Street said it won’t go to waste, “Maybe our welding class or industrial technology classes might use it to maybe take apart and work on just to see how a van is put together and how it’s used.”
The school board also discussed registration dates for the upcoming year. Student registration will be held on Monday, August 3 from 8 am until 2 pm and on Tuesday, August 4 from 2 until 7 pm. The first day back for West Central students is Thursday, August 13.
