Haven’t had a chance to make your submission for WKVIdol yet? Don’t fret, the deadline has been extended to allow more children the chance to compete in this year’s singing contest at the Starke County 4-H Fair. Though the deadline has been extended, you should still get your entries in as soon as possible in order to ensure your spot in the competition on Monday, July 13 at 8 pm in the show arena.
Show us what you’re capable of by sending in a minute long singing sample through CD audio, an mP3 file or by email to wkvidol@wkvi.com. Along with your sample include all contact information such as your name, address, phone number and email address. Also compose a list of your top 3 favorite family friendly songs in order of preference, just in case someone else has already chosen your first pick. Entering a demo gives WKVI permission to use all or part of your sample on air to promote WKVIdol.
Submissions are still needed for all three of the age specific categories; the youngest group of singers will range from 7 to 10, the middle group will be performers ages 11 to 14 and the oldest group will be teens from 15 to 18-years-old. Contestants will not only get the opportunity to showcase their talent to fair-goers and judges from WKVI but can also potentially walk away with a metal or trophy. Near or far, doesn’t matter who you are, WKVIdol could make you Starke County’s next big star.
