Oregon-Davis students will be taking a field trip to learn about farming and protecting the environment.
The Starke County Farm Bureau Association presented a $500 check to the Oregon-Davis School Board at its meeting Monday. That will go toward the third grade class’s trip to Fair Oaks Farms.
During the meeting, the school board also authorized the publication of the 2016 budget. Additionally, the October meeting’s been moved up from October 19 to October 12 because of the schools’ fall break.
