An investigation by the LaPorte County Metro Operations Task Force resulted in the arrest of a LaPorte man on drug charges.
Officers served an arrest warrant on 22-year-old Jesse Sroka Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release. He’s charged with two counts of dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug. Both are level 4 felonies, which are punishable by up to 12 years in prison and fines of up to $10,000.
Investigators say the arrest was the culmination of their continued efforts to eradicate heroin distribution in LaPorte County. They note the investigation into Sroka’s activities is ongoing, and additional criminal charges will be filed.
